Owner John Matthews has been involved in kart racing since 1977. Prior to purchasing Heartbeat Racing John apprenticed with legendary engine builder Mike Clements where he learned the fine art of engine modification and tuning. John also has extensive experience with chassis tuning culminating with his driver Josh Lyon getting into the Super Pro finals at the Las Vegas Supernationals. John is always willing to share his experience with other racers, engine builders, and parents.... 

We are dealers for Briggs and Stratton, ARC, Dyno Cams, WildKart, Burris, and many other brands in addition to manufacturing our own line of chassis and engine products. We like to say "if it's for a kart we either have it, we can get it, or you don't need it"....
